Man… I couldn’t get online all day :(

I had some problems today.  I hope I can finally get some work done over the weekend.  It’s been an interesting week.  So much to do so little time.  Well, it’s time to get ready for the Fast Track.  Wish me luck.

It’s like redecorating my office

You know.. sometimes I like to play around with my websites just because.  Hey… it must be my mom’s genes.  She’s the artist in the family.  She starting to paint again.  I can’t wait to see what we can do with that online.  Her work is cool.  Even though she laughs at me when I go in my office and close the door.  She will walk in and I’m like, “Hey close the door!”  and she comes in and close it.  I’m like, “Not with you here!”  She likes, “Oh you doing that internet thing?” and leaves.  She’s so silly.  But always makes me smile.  Believe me, if you think I don’t know how to budget shop, then talk with her.   You would wonder how she does it.  Throughout the years, I’ve seen her friends come and go, and most of the time it was jealousy.  But what was weird is, we were not the richest and (still not!), richest people in the world, but you would think so because of her eye for design and style. Dad is the same way.  To me I always called them modern hippies…. LOL  But I don’t know how else to explain it.

Making the impossible… Possible

so.. I had one of those dreams, where I’m fighting with myself.  Don’t ask me why this happens.  I figured it must have been some stress. Anyway.. I have alot on my plate, and I will keep you guys updated.  Training… training.. training.. It’s been a hard summer for alot of people.  Spending over $100 a week on gas is not cool.  We are going to have to stop and see what we as a people can do to reduce our cost of living expenses.

I got alot of kids over, so I’m taking it easy.

Doing some tweeking and make-overs

Well.. I’ve been alit busy for awhile.  I’ve been doing some uplifts to my sites, and making it more automated.  First I’ve been exploring my veretekk system more since I’m a gold member.  I did some upgrading to my site there, and made a post at Rush Office, and already have someone interested in the computer givaway.  Wow.. that’s amazing.  I’m really going to explore my options here.  I also got alot of new people, so I’ve been busy training.  My family is not being so supportive for my time management, but I have to do the best I can with what I got going on.  Don’t worry, I’m not letting it discourage me at all.  Besides, I still have alot of birthdays coming up, so I have to do some last minute posting for it.  Esp my daughter.  I want to make sure I have it going on.

So first.. I will be at the Moms In the City MeetUp Group

Starts 2:30pm

4950 N. Marine Dr

Chicago, IL

It’s pot luck, so we are going to BBQ tomorrow, and have the food ready for Sunday, so we don’t have to bring the grill.  I can’t wait to meet all my local moms around Chicagoland.  It should be cool, as long as the kids have fun.

Why he gotta remember at the last minute!

He is so crazy.  I had my morning planeed for today and he just remembers that he’s family’s reunion is today.  Now I have to get ready.. Dang.. it’s hot in chcoago!

Man.. It’s a Hot Weekend IN Chicago.. woooo weeee

This is going to be one of those hot weekend in Chicago where I hear more motorcycles then ever before. Anyway.. I’m very happy I’m able to keep up with everyone for a change. I’m meeting alot of great people this summer and I think this will be very good for people to get with. I also ran into alot of people that were burned by scams and just didn’t have good support with their businesses. It pains me sometimes. Believe me, I’ve been there. I was a victim of the autosurfing industry, and it was not pretty. It had everyone in a pickle. Even caused bankruptcies for others. It was a sad time. I know alot about scams, and I’m fortunate to also learn from my mistakes and hope I can prevent others from falling victim to alot of them. I know it’s hard, but everyone is also looking for an easy way out for the life that they made. If they only knew what it took to reverse what they create, then it can be done! But I don’t know how else to explain this then for what it is.

Training, Training, Training

I’ve worked my butt off this month for the new promotion with the MomsWin.  I’m sooooooo beat up.  Then I’m going throught PR training for Rush Office.  I have alot of my plate right now. Luckily the training with MomsWin is not something I have to worry too much about.  All of it is right there in our websites.  People just have to make the time and effort to do it.  I do have my yahoo group to help them keep up as well.  I’m also planning my daughter’s birthday party.  It’s taking some of my time getting it together.  I’ll make an announcement ASAP. I know many of my friends in MySpace want to go, and meet me.  So I better get it on!

Anyway.. beside that.. I think I have things in order.  I have to make some new promotional materials for New members as well. I know my personal training with my mentor will get me on the right track.  She always does.  She wouldn’t be one of the top leaders in the business if she didn’t know what she was doing.  Even though I’m self-employeed, we still need guidance along the way.  But it’s up to us to do it!

Cars on Fire!!

Man.. a minivan went up in flames, in front of the house.  Glad no one was hurt though.  Dad had the fire distiquisher ready to put a man out.  But.. no one was on fire. It’s all good.

Other than that, I kept it a very light day.  Tomorrow dad wants to start PR training for Rush Office.  I hope this will not take all day.

I took some new pics today.  I have them on my site, and my myspace.  I updated my blogger and adlandpro too.  I’ll get around to others later.  That’s enough for me today.

I’ll see ya

Technology is still so new for home businesses

I remember when I first started working from home.  I didn’t even know how to use instant messenger.  Now look at me progress.  I just takes time and dedication.   But as I was talking with one of my clients today, I told her that so many people underestimate what it takes to be your own boss.

Most people are use to a 9 to 5 and working for a boss or company with a set pay for so many hours.  So.. they think that working for themselves will be better.  But then when the truth of the commitment comes out, they get scared and chicken out.  Then don’t think they can handle being their own boss.  They have been use to being told what to do for years.  All of the sudden they have to make their own schedules, put their own efforts in, and MAYBE they will make some money that week.  Then they do the same next week and do great.  Then next week is not so good.

People can’t handle that.  The uncertainty of getting paid based on their efforts, not how many hours they worked.

Another thing I love are the tax breaks.  Just because it’s a home business, doesn’t mean the same rules don’t apply to it.  We can deduct alot of expenses.  I’m thinking about doing a co-publishing training on the tax advantages of home businesses on the Online Training Channel.  I’ll try to pick a good day.  I’ll let you know on my calender.

I’ll be back with more

Regional Call Was Cool!

I got an unexpected email from my regional director to join a special call for directors in the midwest region.  I also got to hear from an Executive Director right here in Chicago.  That was great.  I need that boost.  Now with that done, I will be ready for the rest of July.

I can’t find my son’s birth certificate.  I’ve been looking for it since I went down the street to apply for Kid Care. So I ending up going to Markham Courthouse to get it.  I went after my morning presentation, and some training.  I figured it wouldn’t be anyone there. WRONG!  There was a LINE!  But luckily he was born close by, or I would have to wait.  It took no time.

Then I get to the aid office to turn in the paperwork.  What happens?  It’s another line going around the world in 80 days.  CRAP!  So I was going to walk out and just try to fax it to her.  Then here she comes out the back.. perfect timing to make the copies for me.  I thought that was cool.  Since I stopped working at the slave-driving Post Office, I don’t have my Blue Cross.  So I have to deal with Medicaid for now.

Now the interesting part of it all, is I had to show her proof of income.  So I had my checkstubs from working at home, and my b/f’s.  Now.. don’t get me wrong.. I’m not rolling in dough yet, but since she viewed my checks increasing each month, she wanted to know more about it.  That’s would be cool too.   My case worker joining my biz.  Let’s see what happens. Once I start making too much to qualify for it, that would really get her in right?  *wink*

Anyway.. I’m done with my admin stuff. See ya tommorrow.
